All BoostAir booster compressors utilize
quality-packaging components to ensure the best possible product.
The components are common through the BoostAir compressor
line. |
|
Skid Mounted: All components are mounted on a
heavy duty oil field type skid. The unit is surrounded
by protective side and end rails. |
Compressor(s): Gardner Denver single stage reciprocating
compressors with suction unloading valves are the heart
of the booster package. Time proven and able to handle
the rugged environment of underground mining, these compressors
are fully endorses by Gardner Denver for it's application
up to 400 psig. |
Driver: Each compressor is driven by a Teco-Westinghouse
TEFC Premium efficiency electric motor. |
Control Panel: An EEMac 4X rated
Stainless Steel electrical enclosure houses standard Mitsubishi,
Modicon, or Allen Bradley PLCs. NEMA rated Allen Bradley
main motor starters are utilized. All other components
are Allen Bradley (disconnect, fuse blocks, pressure switches). |

Inlet Filter: A one (1) micron coalescing filter
will protect the booster from incoming particulate, scale,
and rust increasing compressor life and productivity and
reducing downtime and preventative maintenance costs. |
Capacity Controller: Maintain a consistent outlet
pressure without operating between load and unload set-points.
Eliminates inconsistent feed pressures and enables maximum
performance. |
Inlet Regulator: Regulates inlet air pressure
and adjusts booster compressor outlet delivery. |
Water Cooled Aftercooler: Reduces discharge air
temperature and increases hose life. Available in shell
and tube or brazed plate heat exchangers. |
Selector Switches: Enable any combination of
compressors to operate. Provide flexibility in overall
booster displacement. Standard equipment on model 1500B |
